Day 1
Depart Nairobi at 6:30am .The adventure begins early in the morning as you’re picked up by your driver-guide. You’ll enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at the viewpoint to take in sweeping views and perhaps grab a cup of coffee or some souvenirs. As the road winds toward the Maasai Mara, you’ll pass by traditional homesteads, open savannahs, and rural towns that give you a glimpse of life beyond the city.
By midday, you’ll arrive at your chosen safari lodge or tented camp, where you’ll check in and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. After some rest, the afternoon unfolds with your first game drive inside the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve. This is your first chance to encounter Africa’s celebrated wildlife: elephants roaming in herds, graceful giraffes feeding on acacia trees, and perhaps even a pride of lions lounging in the shade or stalking prey in the tall grasses. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your lodge, freshen up, and gather around for dinner. The evening is peaceful, often accompanied by distant calls of animals, making it a magical end to your first day.

Day 2
The second day is dedicated to a full-day game drive across the vast plains of the Maasai Mara. After an early breakfast, you’ll set off with a packed lunch for a full day of exploration. The reserve is known for its dense concentration of wildlife, and if you’re lucky, you might witness thrilling moments such as a cheetah chase, elephants protecting their calves, or a leopard perched in a tree. If visiting between July and October, you might also witness the Great Migration — one of nature’s most spectacular events, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross into the Mara from the Serengeti. Your guide will help you track animal movements and explain their behaviors, making the experience even more enriching. Around midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of an acacia tree, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
In the afternoon, you may choose to add a cultural visit to a local Maasai village (optional at an extra cost), where you can interact with the Maasai people, learn about their customs, homes, and traditional dances. As the sun begins to set again, you’ll return to your camp for another relaxing evening with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
you’ll have the option of going for a short early morning game drive before breakfast – a great chance to spot nocturnal animals winding down or predators still on the move. After breakfast, you’ll check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. You’ll travel with memories of majestic landscapes, close encounters with wildlife, and a deeper appreciation for Kenya’s natural beauty. There will be a stop along the way for lunch, and you’ll arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, with drop-off at your hotel, residence, or the airport depending on your onward plans.
